The Dungeon Crawler is MOSFET based distortion pedal that’s designed to take a clean amp all the way to a death metal tone. Or a doom metal tone, or a black metal tone.. an extreme metal tone!

Based around 3 high gain MOSFET stages and 6 gyrator EQ stages, the Crawler is voiced to emphasize pick attack, high gain, and aggressive tone. The Grind knob adds the output of a silicon rectifier to take the tone even further while the custom comparator based noise gate keeps your extreme tone under control.

Knobs

  • Gain – Increases the amount of distortion
  • Grind – Blends in a silicon rectifier for a grindier tone
  • Volume – Controls the effect signal level
  • Lows – Adjust the low frequencies, post gain
  • Lower Mids – Adjust frequencies around 420Hz, post gain
  • Upper Mids – Adjust frequencies around 1000Hz, post gain
  • Highs – Shelving treble filter at 3kHz, post gain
  • Mix – Adjusts the balance between the input signal (Dry) and the effect (Wet) signal
  • Thick – 130Hz pre-gain filter
  • Presence – Resonant 1000Hz filter, post gain
  • Gate– Turn down for no gate, increase for stronger gate
  • Boost – Engage for increase in Gain and Volume
  • Bypass – Engage or disengage the effect
